Our last day in Sichuan started off with a bang:
Nikon D80 AF-S DX 18-200mm F/5.6 1/20s ISO 800
My D80 was stopped down to the max at f/38 and 1/4000 s, with a C-PL adding another 2 stops. In theory, a faster shutter speed could have saved me some blurriness due to diffraction at this aperture, but photographing eclipses is not really about maxing out your 10 megapixels, is it?
Light changes fast in this situation, and during the total eclipse ISO 800 was needed at f/5.6.
